Why we're here
Our mission is to provide our communities with accessible space to discover and practice archery and the great outdoors.
We started in 2023 so people around Fort Hood and Bell County could shoot outdoors without a private lease or a long drive. Our home range sits on Lark Trail in Salado, and anyone can walk on with a day pass.
Here's what we're building toward:
- Open access. A range you can use today, with no membership required to try it.
- First arrows. Kids, families and adults who have never held a bow, coached by people who shoot every week.
- Ready hunters. Bowhunters who practice from a stand, a saddle or a blind before they ever sit in one for real.
- A shooting community. Shoots and events that bring archers from across Central Texas to one line.

The Armadillo
Our walk-and-shoot bow course. You move down the trail and take your shot at a line of 3D targets, the way you would on a hunt, instead of standing on one line shooting paper.
It's set up at the range in Salado, and it's the competition course for the Armadillo Buckle Series, where traditional bows shoot first.
Get on the range
Membership money pays for targets, range upkeep and running the club. We sell passes through Zeffy, so 100% of what you pay reaches 1MO.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Day pass | $20 / day | One day on the range. Good for trying it out or for visitors. |
| Monthly | $30 / month | Renews monthly. Cancel anytime. |
| Annual | $80 / year | One payment covers a full year of range access. |
| Family | $180 / year | A full year for a family of four. |
Learn from people who hunt
Bow rental with an instructor, one-on-one bowhunting sessions, and practice from a treestand, a saddle or a ground blind before the season opens.
Drew a Belton Lake archery deer permit? The Corps requires a passing proficiency score before you hunt. We run that test.
